Around the farm

At Birdie & The Bees Farm, we are dedicated to growing nutrient-dense food using regenerative, no-till practices that nourish both the land and our community. Our high tunnel greenhouses and veggie plots produce vibrant vegetables packed with flavor and vitality. Our apiary of Italian honeybees works in harmony with our diverse ecosystem, providing raw, unfiltered honey straight from the hive. Our flock of Easter Egger chickens, Broad-Breasted Bronze Turkeys, and Duroc Pigs rotationally graze on pasture – foraging naturally while improving soil health and regenerating the land. We also create nutrient-rich vermicompost with red wigglers and European earthworms – recycling organic matter into living soil amendments that support plant and microbial life.Committed to sustainability, equity, and quality, we cultivate with care—restoring the earth while feeding our neighbors.

Farmers’ Markets & Farm Stops

We sell at our local Farmers’ Market each weekend! On Saturdays you can find us at the Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market.

We also sell our delicious products at the Bethel Lane Farm Stop and the Bloomington Farm Stop Collective. Don’t hesitate to find us and our wonderful products at any of these markets! See you there!

Certified Naturally Grown

We have earned the Certified Naturally Grown certification, which guarantees that the produce that we grown around the farm conform to the highest standards of the organic movement. Furthermore, in order to attain this grassroots certification, we must have a strong focus on sustainability and the natural environment.

We are proud to be CNG, and you, our beloved consumer, can be guaranteed that you’re getting the best produce possible!

Birdie & The Bees Farm Stand

Our farm is off the beaten path. However, we offer our goods at our Farm Stand every Wednesday on our farm in Ellettsville.

Drop by to say hello, grab some fresh produce, and help support your local farmer! We will post our time/location to our socials each week during the growing season!
